This is an important question, however it begs for a lable.  We're working hard to not use lables at Bridges because lables are filled with preconceptions and almost always divide people.

We seek to define ourselves in the context of Jesus Christ.  Bridges exists for Jesus Christ.  Jesus is the head of Bridges.  Bridges exists to worship Jesus Christ, draw together with other followers of Jesus Christ, and to enter into the community to demonstrate the love of God in Jesus Christ.

The Bible is the source for our understanding of Jesus Christ, ourselves, and the world.  It is our source for determining our faith and practice.

We seek to develop positive relationships and partnerships with other churches, ministries, and organizations while remaining self-governing and free of any outside authority or management.
