Bridges is a church committed to growing larger and smaller at the same time. We want to grow larger through our worship and our service to the community. We want to grow smaller through a growing number of small groups. Small groups at Bridges are the primary vehicle for connection, care, spiritual growth, service, and outreach. Small groups at Bridges engage in three vital activities Learning Small groups are an important place for spiritual growth and development. The Bible is the primary resource for small groups. Small groups can study books of the Bible, or topics addressed in the Bible. Resource material such as study guides can be used. Small groups may also use the Sunday morning message as a starting point for small group learning activities. Caring Small groups are the primary system for providing care to the people of Bridges. Group members care for one another by praying for one another, encouraging one another at small group meetings and throughout the week, and supporting one another in times of need. Serving Small groups at Bridges engage in regular service projects. These projects include service to Bridges and outreach projects into the community. Each group engages in outreach projects throughout the year.
